This Shire draft horse sculpture is all about persistence. I purposefully made the design seem almost impossible. I chose the stone cube for this reason. Almost everyone I know that has achieved anything significant has had periods of time or projects where they were only able to make progress in small increments as opposed to leaps. My skill sets, as an artist, have been hard won, and those consistent improvements are what makes it look easy to do. I like to view most people as though what they have or have done is a culmination of many choices.
